Vickers credits Cindy Gibbs, his interior designer, for much of the excitement about his homes thanks to her selection and blending of flooring, carpeting, natural stones and colors.  "We use a lot of natural stone in our houses, using slate and granite, for example, in floors and for kitchen and bath backsplashes.  There are some very creative mixes."
